Position: Accounting Operations Administrator
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: SGT
Tasks required:
Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Monthly bank reconciliations
Process payments, enter data into the accounting system, bank account management, etc.
Workpass application
Liaise with statutory boards & suppliers when needed
Assist in onboarding process and preparation of contracts for new employees
Payroll tracking and leave administration
Process employee claims
Send invoices to clients
Preparation and filing of documents
Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion
Maintain confidentiality of all financial & personal data
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Compile and prepare monthly reports and summaries
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or any relevant role
Background in Accounting industry
Preferably has experience or background in Singapore Accounting and Taxation standards and laws
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Experience in managing simple accounts
Proficiency with accounting softwares (XERO, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Zoho, Sage Accounting Software, etc.)
Ability to provide great customer service
Experience in handling HR tasks is highly desirable
Should have an understanding of the clients business and needs
With experience in handling compliance and other general accounting tasks
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently perform with limited supervision
