Position: Web Developer

Tasks required:
Troubleshoot and resolve CSS-related issues, including adjusting font styles, sizes, and colors on blogs and website pages.
Fix layout problems, such as element alignment, spacing, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
Ensure that images on the site are appropriately resized and optimized for faster loading times.
Maintain image quality and visual consistency across different screen sizes and resolutions.
Handle the technical setup and connection of the website to its domain.
Configure DNS settings and ensure proper domain propagation for seamless site access.
Manage domain-related issues, ensuring the site is accessible and functional with the correct domain name.
Identify, install, and configure plugins necessary to enhance site functionality.
Ensure compatibility of plugins with existing site features and resolve any plugin conflicts or issues.
Maintain and update plugins regularly to keep the website running smoothly and securely.
Perform routine updates and fixes to maintain site performance, including adjusting scripts, handling minor code tweaks, and updating content.
Test websites for cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Implement minor design and functionality changes based on client or team feedback.
Provide regular updates on project status and potential challenges.
Effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical team members or stakeholders.
Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Web Developer or relevant experience
Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
Experience with WordPress (or other CMS platforms) for plugin installation and theme customization.
Knowledge of basic domain management (DNS settings, domain pointing, etc.).
Understanding of SEO best practices for site optimization.
Experience with image optimization tools and techniques to enhance website load speed.
Familiarity with web performance testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with other CMS platforms like Shopify, Joomla, or Drupal.
Familiarity with Git for version control.
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Able to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and workflows.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
