Bilingual Video Editor (English & Mandarin)

Position: Bilingual Video Editor (English & Mandarin)

Location: China, Taiwan, or Southeast Asia (Preferred)

Rate:

$15/hour (Intermediate: 3–6 years experience)

$20/hour (Senior: 6–10 years experience)

Schedule: TBC

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both long-form and short-form video content

• Work with Mandarin-language footage and produce English-captioned outputs

• Ensure high-quality cuts, pacing, transitions, and storytelling flow

• Sync audio, subtitles, and visuals accurately

• Optimize videos for digital and social media platforms

• Follow creative direction and brand guidelines closely

• Deliver polished outputs with minimal revisions
  
  

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills, especially cuts, pacing, and storytelling

• Experience editing both short-form and long-form content

• High attention to detail and strong sense of visual storytelling

• Ability to meet expectations with low revision rates

• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
