Estimator (RR - 03032026 - PTE)

Tasks required:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects

• Perform measurements and quantity take-offs using drawings and specifications

• Assist in preparing initial estimates for project certificates

• Develop cost breakdowns and pricing schedules

• Coordinate closely with the lead estimator/manager

• Ensure all estimates are completed in metric measurements (non-negotiable)

• Maintain organized documentation of estimates and revisions

• Deliver work that requires review/editing only not major corrections

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction estimating

• Strong background in:
  

• Prestige residential projects

• Custom-built homes

• Small to medium commercial projects

• Industrial sheds

• Apartments and townhouses

• Retail developments

• Experience in custom/prestige builds (not project home estimating)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Approximately 10 years of industry experience

• Self-starting and highly independent

• Requires minimal supervision

• Produces work at a level that only requires review and refinement

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership

• Comfortable working behind the scenes in a support capacity
