Position: Software Project Manager

Number of hours: 40 hours per week (9:00AM - 5:00PM EST)
Schedule: Eastern Time zone

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track projects from initiation through completion, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables remain on schedule.

  • Monitor and maintain Jira tickets, ensuring accurate updates, prioritization, assignment, and timely follow-ups with stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups to remove blockers, track progress, and ensure accountability across all project activities.

  • Organize project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status updates.

  • Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, and planning sessions, ensuring clear communication among team members.

  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and timelines, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Prepare and provide regular reports on project status, priorities, milestones, and key metrics.

  • Support product initiatives by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and coordinating implementation activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and project management practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Project Coordinator, or Operations Manager.

  • Hands-on experience using Jira for task management, ticket tracking, sprint planning, and project coordination.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong follow-up and coordination skills, ensuring tasks and deliverables are completed on time.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Experience working with remote teams and collaborating across multiple departments.

  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Slack, or similar platforms.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in software, technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital product environments is a strong advantage.
