Certified Surgical Technologist

As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a crucial role in the operating room, providing assistance to surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing and organizing surgical instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available. Additionally, you will assist in positioning and preparing the patient for surgery, as well as documenting procedures and maintaining a sterile environment.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control practices. They should possess excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
