Physical Therapist

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing therapy programs as prescribed by the physical therapist

• Guide and supervise patients through therapeutic exercises and activities

• Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions

• Assist in educating patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities

• Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation under the direction of the physical therapist

• Ensure a clean and organized therapy area

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatment plans and progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy treatments and techniques

• Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional guidelines in practice

• Requirements:

• Must be a graduate, or graduating, from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California, or willing to obtain.

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred but not required

• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to adapt to changing needs of patients and work collaboratively within a team environment

• A commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient outcomes
