Jasiri, one of AGGPRs key programs, supports entrepreneurs in building high-impact businesses, creating new markets, and fostering sustainable growth.

Jasiri Programs:

  • Talent Investor Program: A one-year initiative for individuals with exceptional entrepreneurial potential. Participants receive funding, team formation support, business validation, and mentorship to launch impactful ventures.
  • Growth Accelerator: Provides funding and guidance to early-stage startups with high growth potential.
  • Wavumbuzi: A six-week online challenge developing entrepreneurial skills in high school students to nurture the next generation of leaders.

About the Position:
The Jasiri Talent Investor Program Lead oversees the programs design, execution, and growth across East Africa. The role involves strategic leadership, team management, participant recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and program expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Selection:

    • Lead recruitment efforts to attract diverse, high-potential candidates.
    • Oversee selection processes and participant onboarding.
  2. Program Management:

    • Manage the full program lifecycle, including in-person and venture creation phases.
    • Coordinate with coaches and ensure participant progress.
    • Oversee logistics and delivery across multiple countries.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a high-performing culture.
    • Onboard and develop team members to achieve program goals.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build relationships with participants, mentors, and industry experts.
    • Represent Jasiri in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to strengthen its reputation.
  5. Financial & Strategic Oversight:

    • Manage program budgets and contribute to strategic growth.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion and improve program delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; facilitation certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years in entrepreneurship support or program management, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skills: Leadership, communication, adaptability, project management, and strategic thinking.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; East African language skills are an advantage.
