About the company:

A leading mining multinational mining and metals corporation involved in the exploration, mining, and processing of mineral resources and leader in sustainable and responsible mining practices. Its exploration division is currently focused on early-stage lithium exploration in Rwanda.

Job Purpose:

This role entails supporting financial matters purchase-to-pay process (P2P) in parallel supporting the operations and logistics (O&L) of field exploration operations and the Kigali office, reporting to the Rwanda Project Support Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Finance

· Support the purchase-to-pay process, including vendor management, purchase order and invoice processing, and compliance with internal and jurisdiction finance policies. Utilising the SAP Software package.

· Support the compilation of monthly accruals and assist with internal reporting requirements.

· Support budget and cost tracking systems and review project reports for spending trends.

· Support supplier relationships and stay updated on local legislation affecting exploration activities.

· Invoice, document management, and collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners.

Operations and Logistics

· Support personnel movement to and from project sites and manage accommodation and ground transport.

· Assist Rwanda Project Support Coordinator in the Overseeing office management, including coordinating support staff and ensuring office equipment/service functionality.

· Support with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for office safety requirements and inductions.

· Support the inward/outward goods and mail, including customs coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelors degree in finance or any related fields.

· Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance roles, particularly in purchase-to-pay processes.

· Knowledge of procurement processes, and experience with supplier management.

· Good communication skills, ability to multitasks, adapt to dynamic exploration operations, and detail oriented.

· Familiarity with procurement and finance software, preferably SAP, and understanding of Rwandan financial regulations.

· Project management experience and proficiency in Office 365.

· Valid driving license with at least 2 years experience (preferred).
