About the Opportunity

Our client in Real Estate, with a fast-growing and diversified business group operating across multiple industries, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead its Human Resources function.

This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building systems from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening people practices while preserving a culture built on accessibility, collaboration, accountability, and direct communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and people strategies that support business growth.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition across multiple business units.
  • Establish structured onboarding and probation management processes.
  • Design and implement performance management and employee appraisal systems.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and workplace conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Rwandan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Develop compensation and benefits frameworks.
  • Support succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture programs.
  • Develop HR reporting, dashboards, and people analytics.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives.
  • Create organizational structures, job descriptions, and workforce frameworks.
  • Partner with leadership to build high-performing teams and strengthen organizational capability.

Qualification and Experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4 -7 years of experience of in Human Resources leadership, within fast-growing or mid-sized organizations.
  • Understanding of Rwandan labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, and HR policy implementation.
  • Experience supporting organizations through growth and organizational transformation is highly desirable.
