Your Role:

As an E-Commerce Account Director in Dubai, you'll collaborate closely with your account team to optimize customer journeys and provide qualitative assessments of retailer websites and leading e-commerce marketplaces. Your role will drive tangible results for clients, making a significant impact on their business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging client-facing presentations and manage large project budgets.
• Act as the trusted day-to-day advisor for clients, bringing value to their business.
• Develop and implement strategies to exceed client business objectives.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of client business issues, competitive situations, and industry trends.
• Lead multiple fast-paced projects across various business lines.
• Manage project production to ensure they remain on budget and schedule.
• Supervise Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Coordinators.
• Connect junior account staff, senior leaders, and other agency departments such as Production, Strategy, and Creative.
• Adapt eCommerce strategies to meet local market requirements aligned with commercial direction.
• Ensure consistent and accurate product/service range and information on e-shops and marketplaces.
• Create and upload meaningful assets (e.g., banners, product images).
• Trigger local promotion tools and systems.
• Analyze local data reports and monitor key metrics such as onsite experience, traffic, and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with local and international partners on necessary integrations (e.g., payment, age verification, delivery).
• Work with local Web Presence teams to adapt the site (including mobile versions) for different customer segments and manage publishing tasks.
• Recommend improvements to enhance the online customer journey and drive growth.
• Ensure the eCommerce platform is accessible, operational, and well-adopted.
• Report key metrics and monitor vendor service level agreements to ensure optimal customer service quality.
• Lead the relationship between the client and the agency team.
• Spearhead large national initiatives targeting EMEA & LEVANT regions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of eCommerce experience in digital commerce retailers & intermediaries, or a similar industry and role, ideally from an agency.
• Expertise in e-commerce retail and media fundamentals (search, display, video, social, etc.).
• Proven ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Strong team player with a desire to contribute to the agency's success.
• Team management experience with demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Results-driven with a strong customer focus.
• Experience presenting and influencing at the Executive level.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
