Our client is looking for their next Account Director to join them in Dubai office. It is a leading global agency with a very strong presence in the UAE & Internationally. 

The Account Director will take care of large-scale global accounts and nurture client relationships while growing existing accounts in the MENA region.

Responsibilities

  • This role will work closely with the Group Account Director and is responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and control of production projects
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities with production hubs ensuring successful completion of projects
  • Their proximity to the global leads enables a strong accountability for ensuring consistency with project commitments and goal
  • This role demands a forward-thinking strategic leader who will oversee a large multi-disciplinary team serving both regional and global clients
  • Will also play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities both within existing brands and agency new business efforts
  • Also, will act as point of escalation for the creative marketing team and reconcile production differences with client concerns
  • In doing so, the candidate will foster strong partnerships with other projects leads, while overseeing projects, timelines, and planning
  • The account director will represent production in the eyes of the client, while educating clients and team members
  • Will take responsibility for all production relationships and processes globally, ensuring consistency with existing commitments and goals
  • Will actively cooperate with selected stakeholders from the client-side, Agency, account managers, and the production teams to ensure all agreed work is delivered to the client in high quality and within agreed timelines
  • More than just delivering the expected production materials, he must ensure all production runs effectively and efficiently
  • Additionally, this person will help to identify day-to-day hurdles and address specific production needs and optimizations while providing support to large-scale production

Qualifications:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to adjust processes for efficiencies, and engage the appropriate stakeholders prior to making any changes What Youll Need Bachelors degree in Marketing / Advertising/ business or a related field 8 to 10 years of experience running client accounts and developing client relationships
  • Needs to have excellent project management/communication and client management skills supported ideally by strong technical/digital & video background
  • We seek someone who is a strategic, motivated, positive experienced multiteam manager with operational solid, production, and project management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
  • With experience managing and growing a team, within the corporate or Agency space
  • This person must be organized, adaptable and outstanding with client services and communication
  • Experience working as Production Manager, Production Lead, or another key managerial production position at a creative agency, media or digital agency.
