About the job Head of Digital Marketing - Leading Tech Co.
We are looking for a digital marketing leader to drive forward the growth motion across the digital channels and measurement. You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of digital channels including performance marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing and CRM and oversee measurement and analytics across all marketing channels. Responsible for driving and amplifying growth motions through B2C and B2B, helping spread our privacy drive across both individuals and companies.
What you will do
- Build out a vision and strategy for how digital channels can be leveraged to drive growth - acquisition, activation, retention and monetization across each product and across the ecosystem.
- Work with Product and business unit growth teams to design the growth motions for B2C and B2B.
- Put in place best-in-class testing and optimization strategies, methodologies and platforms.
- Drive customer acquisition efforts through performance marketing, finding the right pools of customers and designing their journey from ad to subscription.
- Develop a lifecycle user strategy for our growing 100m userbase to drive activation, retention and monetization.
- Develop a demand generation strategy for growing B2B business, working closely with the Head of Sales to drive efficient pipeline and conversion across SMB verticals.
- Hire, develop and lead a team of kickass digital marketers, ensuring their personal and skills development
- Oversee the management of digital agencies, SaaS platforms and tools to help resource and automate our efforts.
- Manage marketing analytics and reporting across the marketing team, to drive insights on key levers and ROI.
- Partner with the Data team to drive accurate measurement and inference, whilst staying true to our strict privacy principles and protocols.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a digital marketing leadership role encompassing growth, performance marketing and lifecycle / CRM with a stellar track record for driving growth with positive unit economics.
- Strong experience in B2C, SaaS, subscription-based startups / tech companies preferably in online privacy, cybersecurity and/or productivity contexts.
- Strong domain expertise in performance marketing and lifecycle / CRM with experience across SEO, product-led growth and marketing analytics.
- Big believer in driving sustainable growth and product-led growth. Must have a holistic approach, prioritizing retention and monetization just as much as acquisition and activation.
- Voracious early adopter of new technologies across diverse fields from privacy to artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrency to cybersecurity.
- Strong empathy for the customer, user-centric mindset, and an unwillingness to lower standards.
- Proven track-record in marketing successful product launches in fast-paced environments.
- A work ethic of going above and beyond to make things happen. Ability to be hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong project management skills.
- Strong ability to both hustle and problem solve - blockers are there to be unblocked and there is no problem too big. You have strong leadership attributes and are not afraid to lead the conversation.
