As an Ecommerce Account Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing top-notch e-retail strategies that align with the brands business objectives. You'll work closely with the account team, contributing to customer journey optimization initiatives and providing qualitative assessments of retailer websites and all major leading ecommerce marketplaces. Your expertise in eCommerce and understanding of optimization tactics will drive tangible results for the clients global FMCG brands.

Responsibilities

  • This will include client-facing presentations and overseeing large project budgets
  • Serve as clients trusted day-to-day advisor in bringing value to their business
  • Help develop and drive strategy to meet and exceed the clients business objectives
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the client's business key issues, competitive situation and industry trends
  • Ability to lead multiple fast-moving projects across multiple lines of business
  • Manage production of projects to keep them on budget and on schedule, and supervise Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Coordinators
  • Be the connective tissue between junior account staff, the senior leaders, and other agency departments, such as Production, Strategy and Creative
  • Adapt the eCommerce strategy to markets in respect to local requirements aligned with local Commercial direction.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate product/ service range and information on e-shops & market places.
  • Ensure that meaningful assets (e.g., banner, product image) are crafted and uploaded
  • Trigger local promotions tools and systems.
  • Analyze reports from local Data Analysis role and monitor key metrics such as on site experience, traffic and visit to conversion metrics
  • Work with local & International partners on required integrations (e.g., payment, age verification, delivery)
  • In collaboration with the local Web Presence adapt site (incl. mobile version) discovery and purchase experience depending on customer segments in the market and handover any task related to publishing
  • Analyze online experience and recommend improvements to enhance customer journey and drive growth
  • Improve on site accessibility and ensure the eCommerce platform is operational and well adopted
  • Ensure reporting of all key metrics and monitor all vendor service level agreement to ensure optimal quality of services to customer
  • In this role, you will lead the relationship between the client and the agency team.
  • You will be given the chance to spearhead large national initiatives targeting EMEA & LEVANT regions

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of eCommerce experience across Digital Commerce retailers & intermediaries, or in an similar industry and role - ideally from an agency.
  • An expert in the fundamentals of e-commerce retail and/or media (search, display, video, social, etc.)
  • Proven track record prioritizing in a fast-paced environment with competing internal and external priorities
  • Team player with a genuine desire to contribute to the overall success of agency.
  • Team management experience, with demonstrated leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Strong business acumen, problem solving & analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Results driven with strong customer focus
  • Experience in presenting and influencing at Executive level
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
