About this Opportunity
The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is recruiting an Hourly part-time Receptionist to join our Racquets & Athletics team and reports to the Director, Racquets and Athletics (DRA). The Racquet Office Receptionists are accountable for providing customer service in the day-to-day operation of the club and completing administrative work as required by the DRA, and other department heads. The Receptionist will work as a cohesive crew with the interconnected departments to deliver exceptional service to the membership.

What are we looking for and what can you bring to the table?
The RCCs Office Receptionist (duties):
- Greets members and guests in a friendly and energetic manner.
- Attends to the members requests promptly.
- Answers all incoming calls and direct to the proper area in the Club or assist the caller with the inquiry.
- Controls the main switch board for the club. Transferring calls to other departments, take reservations for dining, answering general questions for the club.
- Monitors and administers Racquets, Athletics, Aquatics rules and procedures.
- Assists all departments with administrative assistance when needed.
- Assists Racquet Office Supervisor or Director, Racquets & Athletics when needed.
- Promptly corresponds with members and guests through email or in person.
- Handles shipments that come through the club.
- Communicates any messages with other departments.
- Monitors the front/side door cameras, confirms that all guests are registered.
- Arranges for courier services as needed.
- Accepts and direct incoming deliveries.
- Key Fobs Responsible for issuing key fobs and providing administration with the appropriate billing record.
- Lockers Responsible for updating locker information, maintaining locker records, cancel lockers when required, and assign lockers to members as they become available.
- Assists members with court bookings.
- Accepts guest credit/debit payments.
- Bills members for all purchases i.e., merchandise, guests, restringing, tennis and fitness lessons.
- Carry out opening and closing procedures.
- Schedules appointments for members.
- Assists members in signing up for classes.
- Prepares balls and attendance sheets for league sport events and social events.
- Prepares club gift certificates and maintains records as required.
- Takes dining room and event reservations.
What makes you a great fit?
- 1-year minimum working experience in a similar Administrative role
- Preferrable environment: experience in office or fitness center reception

Shift Requirement:
- Schedule: 5 hours per shift, 2 days per week on Mondays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 9:30 pm.
- Hours of Work: 11-15 hours per week
- Flexibility: Flexible to work weekends and holidays is required
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- This position has potential to be year-round. The individual must be flexible to work weekends and holidays; and would work 40 hours/week during the peak season if this turns into a full-time position.

The Racquets & Athletics Operations:
Racquets and Athletics
The Racquets and Athletics team consists of and looks after the following activities: Tennis- four indoor and four outdoor courts; Pools and swimming lessons; Gymnasium and Fitness studio including guidance from certified professional trainers and pros in the field; and Summer camps. The Racquets Reception provides and manages the activities and schedules.
