Skubbs Private Limited is looking for a competent and motivated junior-level Node.js developer to join our software development team !

As a  junior Node.js developer, your primary role will be to develop and execute scalable APIs and applications using the Node.js framework. You will create high-performance, efficient web applications that can handle large amounts of data and traffic for our clients.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE :-

• Work on building the back-end applications that power web and mobile applications.
• Developing and implementing complex Node.js applications to the cloud infrastructure.
• Designing and maintaining scalable and efficient APIs and integrating third-party APIs into Node.js applications.
• Write an efficient, transparent and well-documented code that meets industry regulations and standards.
• Work collaboratively with designers, stakeholders and product owners to define, design and implement new features in existing software solutions.
• Participate in performance optimization and tuning of existing Node.js applications by reviewing software code and providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Ensure proper adherence to privacy and security standards.
• Stay updated with the emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Develop high-quality back-end web applications and API.
• Maintain and bug fixing for existing backend and web system
• Support internal and external user
• Implement features based on requirements from product owners
• Analyze, fix issues and improve software quality

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :-

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 1 years Experience in Node.js application development
• Familiar with front end JavaScript web technologies such as ReactJS, NextJS or AngularJS is a plus!
• Familiarity with web development frameworks, such as Express.js.
• Experience with MongoDB, mySQL, RestAPI, JavaScript/Typescript, Tailwind and CSS
• Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
• Passionate about programming and solving problems
• Working knowledge of test-driven development (TDD).
• Have a working laptop and strong internet connection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: SGD 750 - SGD 900 per month
