Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Brief

We are seeking a person who is able to protecting an organizations information systems and data from cyber threats.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data from various security tools (e.g., SIEM systems) to identify anomalies and potential security incidents.

• Respond to and investigate security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access.

• Develop and implement response plans to mitigate and contain security threats.

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and scans to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.

• Work with IT teams to prioritize and address identified vulnerabilities.

• Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to promote best practices.

• Provide recommendations for improving security posture based on analysis and findings.

• Utilize threat intelligence sources to anticipate and prepare for emerging threats.

Qualifications:

• Education Background: Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering, programming or any other related education certificates.
  

• Experience in cybersecurity fields or related fields

• Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with different teams and explaining technical issues in a clear manner.
