Salary: $75,773 NZD - $106,739 NZD per year (depending on experience)

About the Role

Gisborne Hospital is seeking dedicated and skilled Midwives to join our maternity team. This is a unique opportunity to practise full-scope midwifery in a supportive, community-focused environment while making a real difference to the health and wellbeing of whānau in Tairāwhiti.

What You'll Do

As part of our maternity service, you will provide care across the full scope of practice, including:

• Continuity of care throughout the maternity journey

• Supporting both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies

• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

What Were Looking For

• Qualified midwives with experience across the midwifery scope of practice
• Strong commitment to providing culturally safe, women-centred care in line with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
• A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with the New Zealand Midwifery Council, or evidence of having started the registration process

• A New Zealand driver licence (or willingness to obtain one upon arrival)
