Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Salary: SAR 35,000–45,000 per month + housing allowance + annual flights + performance bonus

A leading high‑tech manufacturer in the medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical components sector is seeking an experienced Production Director to oversee full production operations at one of its key Saudi Arabian facilities. The company is a nationally recognized innovator known for developing and producing:
- Current & Voltage Transformers (MV/LV)
- Switchgear components
- Cable accessories
- Split-core CTs, Rogowski coils, clamp-on CTs
- Magnetic latching relays, shunts
- Other precision instrument transformers

Role Summary
As the Production Director, you will lead end-to-end production operations, team management, continuous improvement and quality control across a facility of 50–100 employees. You will drive performance, optimise processes, enhance automation, and ensure world-class safety and quality standards.
Mandarin Chinese fluency is mandatory due to internal communication and coordination with the companys global leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly production plans aligned with company strategy and market demand.
- Allocate resources, monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement and R&D to maintain alignment with overall business objectives.
2. Process & Operations Management
- Create, refine and implement production process standards and SOPs.
- Drive efficiency improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Oversee process execution, deviation control and change management.
3. Equipment & Automation
- Implement preventive maintenance systems and equipment management programs.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, repairs and upgrades.
- Participate in technical evaluation for new equipment to improve automation levels.
4. Quality Management
- Strengthen and enforce the quality management system.
- Set quality KPIs aligned with regulatory and customer expectations.
- Supervise inspection points, conduct root-cause analysis and lead quality improvement activities.
5. Cost Control
- Track raw material, energy and labour costs to maintain budget efficiency.
- Optimise workflows, waste reduction, and inventory control.
- Support procurement negotiations and supplier performance management.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Implement national safety regulations and internal safety management systems.
- Conduct safety audits, training and incident investigations.
- Lead corrective actions and ensure regulatory compliance.
7. Team Leadership & Organisation Development
- Define team structures, roles and performance objectives.
- Mentor, train and motivate staff to strengthen execution and collaboration.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
8. Procurement & Material Control Oversight
- Supervise procurement planning and inventory processes.
- Ensure compliance, transparency, and timely supplier payments.
- Monitor reconciliation and maintain strict internal controls.
9. Executive Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Assist in strategic decision-making and corporate initiatives.
- Represent the company in external communications where required.
- Carry out additional leadership tasks assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or above) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in production management, preferably within the power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial manufacturing sector.
- Strong experience managing medium-to-large production teams.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, finance fundamentals and HR processes.
- Proven ability in cross-functional leadership and project coordination.
- Global mindset with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- High integrity, resilience, and ability to operate effectively in an overseas environment.
- Must speak Mandarin Chinese, with good English communication skills.
