Position: Speech Pathologist - Grade 2
Location: Regional Victoria, AU
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary: $90,027 - $103,724
++Relocation support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500, Interstate - up to $5,000, Overseas - up to $8,000
++Accommodation Support: Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim Accommodation (if available)

About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you will work autonomously, managing a varied and diverse workload in predominantly home-based and clinic settings, with no nursing home work. You'll join a multidisciplinary team including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology, supported by Allied Health Assistants. A comprehensive orientation program, along with supervision and support opportunities, will ensure your success.
What You'll Do
- Deliver person-centred speech pathology services in home and clinic settings across a regional area
- Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions for independence and safety
- Provide specialist intervention for clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders
- Advise on appropriate communication aids and devices
- Develop goals and care plans to help clients remain active and independent in their community
- Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
- Participate in student training programs and service development/quality improvement initiatives
Who Were Looking For
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
- Professional Membership: Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self-regulation program
- Experience: Knowledge and experience in delivering speech pathology services in home and community-based settings, including management of adult clients with dysphagia
- Advocacy: Ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care systems
- Skills: Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Sponsorship: Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO 252712)
