Role Overview

As a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Brownwood, you will play a vital role in providing patient care through advanced cardiac monitoring. You will:

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data, such as electrocardiograms and heart rate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
  • Identify and address critical changes in patient conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree).
  • Licenses & Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • CPR-BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification (required before orientation completion)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification (required before orientation completion)
  • Experience: Ideal for both new graduates and experienced RNs looking to specialize in telemetry care.
