What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $100,000+ annually (based on experience).
- Overtime Pay: 1.5x your hourly rate for additional hours worked.
- Sign-On Bonus:
- $25,000 for day shift positions.
- $35,000 for night shift positions.
- Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for candidates relocating 200+ miles from Abilene, Texas (paid with your first paycheck).

About the Role:
As an Intermediate Care Nurse (IMCU RN), you will care for patients who require frequent assessments and continuous monitoring due to critical health conditions. This position requires skilled, compassionate nurses who can interpret clinical data and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes. Your role will involve the use of scientific nursing principles to deliver exceptional care, manage specialized equipment, and maintain the safety and comfort of your patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
- Continuously monitor specialized equipment and interpret patient data to provide optimal care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care outcomes and patient safety.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage treatments in compliance with evidence-based practices.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and nursing care according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Actively participate in nursing committees, performance improvement, and quality care initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience: 1 year minimum
- Licensing: Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Certifications:
- CPR-BCLS (required before completing orientation).
- ACLS (required before completing orientation).
- NIH Stroke Scale (required before completing orientation).
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work with therapeutic equipment and interpret clinical data.
- Knowledge of nursing processes, patient care standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and handle confidential patient information.
