  • Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager with a strong background in managing camp facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the camp facilities while providing a positive experience for all guests and staff.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Facility Oversight: Manage daily operations of the camp facilities, including cabins, common areas, recreational facilities, and dining services.
    • Maintenance Management: Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring all facilities are in excellent condition.
    • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary improvements.
    • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility budget, controlling costs and identifying areas for efficiency.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise and train facility staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Guest Services: Address guest inquiries and complaints regarding facility conditions and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or service needs, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
    • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all camp occupants.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in facility management, specifically in camp.
    • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance management software and budgeting tools.
    • Certifications: Relevant certifications in facility management or safety (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are a plus.
    • Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
