Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Role: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience

Start: ASAP

Due to growth within the team, our client is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their supportive team to work in partnership with children, young people, their families and the children's workforce.
Our client support individuals aged 0-25 years directly and through others, using high-quality, evidenced-based approaches to maximise impact where they live and learn.

The Role: This is an exciting and valuable role, the successful candidate will deliver Speech and Language Therapy services, mostly within mainstream schools in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. This includes supporting universal best practice within the setting and providing services directly and through others to support the children and young people to reach their full potential.

Depending on the motivation and skills of the new team member, there may be opportunities to work within a Resource Base, with children with EHCPs, and / or undertaking ASD assessments as part of a neurodevelopmental assessment pathway.

Requirements:

  • Qualified/Registered Speech and Language Therapist with 2 or more years experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Experience working within schools and as part of a multi-agency team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping.
  • Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
