Senior Paraplanner

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a growing and forward-thinking financial planning firm that prides itself on delivering comprehensive, client-focused financial advice.

You will join a collaborative team of Paraplanners who work closely with Financial Advisers to provide holistic financial planning and cashflow modelling services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with strong communication and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, timely, and compliant suitability reports and recommendation documents.
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis to support the delivery of tailored financial advice.
  • Perform complex financial calculations, including CGT and annual allowance assessments.
  • Ensure all advice and documentation meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Advisers to gather necessary information for advice preparation.
  • Provide clear and structured instructions to Administrators to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Utilise technology and financial planning tools to deliver accurate and efficient solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to maintain a high standard of service.

As a Senior Paraplanner, you will also:

  • Support workflow management to ensure the team meets deadlines and quality standards.
  • Review and refine processes, templates, and reports to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Help identify training needs within the team and assist with mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of financial planning, including experience with complex and bespoke cases.
  • Confident in conducting research, analysis, and financial calculations.
  • High attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support and develop others.
