Senior Paraplanner Glasgow (Hybrid)

Salary: £45,000+ (dependent on experience)

You'll play a key role in providing high-level technical support to Financial Planners, delivering first-class client service, and contributing to the development of efficient financial planning solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial planning reports and recommendations across pensions, investments, tax, protection, and estate planning.

  • Support advisers in client meetings and assist with technical queries.

  • Conduct cashflow modelling to support holistic financial planning.

  • Research and analyse a wide range of financial products and providers.

  • Review client portfolios and ensure recommendations are compliant and tailored to client objectives.

  • Liaise with product providers, clients, and colleagues to progress advice cases efficiently.

  • Contribute to process improvements and provide guidance to junior paraplanners or administrators where needed.

  • Keep up to date with regulatory and product developments, ensuring the firm remains compliant with FCA standards.

About You

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or equivalent) essential.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a paraplanning role, ideally within an IFA or wealth management environment.

  • Proven experience working on complex cases, including trusts, IHT planning, drawdown, and corporate structures.

  • Skilled in cashflow modelling software (e.g., Voyant, CashCalc or similar).

  • Excellent report-writing and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with advisers and clients.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused individual with a genuine interest in financial planning.
