Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Personal Tax advisory team, delivering tailored tax planning services for a wide range of business clients.

  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, providing a high standard of advisory support and service.

  • Oversee the compliance process within the local office, contributing to the development of both the business and the team.

  • Collaborate with a network of regional and national Tax professionals to provide technical guidance and bespoke advisory services.

  • Support multiple offices across the region by managing a variety of specialist tax advisory projects.

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the tax team, including conducting appraisals, coaching on assignments, and fostering continuous improvement in quality and delivery.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients, while also developing your own portfolio through assignments and client interactions, including meetings.

  • Conduct in-depth research into complex areas of tax legislation to support advisory work.

Candidate Requirements:

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience working across a range of industry sectors is advantageous.

  • Previous experience in Personal, Private Client, or Mixed Tax within a professional services environment is essential.

  • Strong technical knowledge and a proven ability to research and interpret complex tax legislation.

  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
