Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven Mechanical Engineering Assistant to join our team, dedicated to optimizing workflows in the Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will embody our corporate values while demonstrating professional qualities, competencies, and necessary qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on operational tasks
- Follow operating procedures and oversee stock receiving procedures
- Conduct field drafting and scanning (traveling if required)
- Convert CAD drawings
- Collaborate with engineers to create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models of mining machines and related components
- Support the development and implementation of engineering changes and drawing revisions
- Perform quality checks on drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards

Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Certificate/completion in SolidWorks (3D Modelling and generate BOM) or equivalent
Certificate/completion in AutoCAD (2D/Engineering Drawing)
Proficient in English (if non-English native speaker)
