Job description
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with strong diagnostics, electrical, and after treatment experience to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and after treatment issues in diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs and installations.
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status and any additional maintenance needs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper documentation of work performed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on diagnostics, electrical systems, and after treatment.
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including knowledge of electronic controls and emissions systems.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
- Good tenure with previous employers, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
