Job Opportunity: Chemical Engineering Technician (Oil & Gas Sector)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control on engineering programs, procedures, and control strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in determining product specifications and ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment to optimize performance and safety.
- Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies to support project decision-making.
- Participate in research and development initiatives aimed at improving chemical engineering processes, reactions, and materials.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of chemical processing plants and associated equipment.
- Develop and adhere to guidelines and specifications for the safe handling of hazardous chemicals, environmental protection, and standards for food, materials, and consumer goods.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chemical Engineering Technician, particularly in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering processes, technology, and equipment.
- Ability to conduct quality control and feasibility studies, focusing on both technical and economic aspects.
- Experience in developing safety and environmental protection guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Formal education in Chemical Engineering Technology or a related field is required.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage/salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour.
