Job Opportunity: Accounts Payable Clerk (Oil & Gas Sector)

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional working in the Middle East's oil and gas sector? Are you considering a move to Canada? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Canada. Key Responsibilities:

• Process, verify, and manage invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain organized and precise financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Respond to vendor inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the finance team with additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Formal accounting training or education is required.

• Experience with financial and cost accounting is an asset.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage/salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour.
• Full-time, permanent position with 32.5 - 38 hours/week.
