AT RESEARCH TALENT HUB PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US AND WE GUARANTEE NEVER TO FORWARD ANY PART OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A THIRD PARTY WITHOUT YOUR EXPLICIT CONSENT.

Our objective is to treat the personal information that our candidates, clients and other users provide to us with the utmost respect, and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This privacy policy & data storage terms set out how Research Talent Hub uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

Our privacy policy applies to all “personal data” as explained in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. We will also describe personal data as “data”, “information” or “personal information”

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We are a recruitment agency and recruitment business. We collect information about you to carry out our core business and provide services to you & maintain a business relationship with both candidates and clients.

We use your data to keep you informed about interim and permanent job opportunities that might be of interest to you.

We’ll match you with job vacancies, and submit your details either for a job role or speculatively, enabling us to find the role that is most suitable for your career aspirations. If you don’t wish to have your CV submitted, please let our Consultant or Data Officer know asap (DPO: joanna@reserchtalnthub.co.uk).

We’ll use your information (with your explicit consent) to fulfil contractual obligations with our clients.

CANDIDATE REGISTRATION & JOB ALERTS

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and held in a fully protected environment. By submitting your CV and/or registering your contact details, you are giving Research Talent Hub your consent to store your personal information on our UK-based CRM system that is fully GDPR compliant. We will hold this information for up to 12 months.

COOKIES

While on Research Talent Hub’s website, the usage of cookies is in no way linked to distinguish you from other users of our site. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that Research Talent Hub does not have any control over other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

SHARING TOOLS

Our website uses social networking sharing tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram or Twitter and similar. Once you click on any of these buttons, the social networking site may place a cookie on your computer. Please note that that will be a third-party cookie set by another site and you should check the relevant social networking site’s cookies policy.

OUR LEGITIMATE BUSINESS INTERESTS

As a recruitment business and recruitment agency we introduce candidates for permanent or interim recruitment and as such the exchange of personal data of our candidates and our client contacts is a fundamental, and essential part of this process. We do not use your personal information in any other way such as profiling and other automated services. To support our candidates’ career development needs and our clients’ resourcing requirements we need to store your information on a secure UK-based database system.

CONSENT

We guarantee never to forward any part of your personal information to a third party without your explicit CONSENT. To lawfully process your data, we will request your consent by email for the specific activity we require consent for (i.e. sending your CV to our client for a specific role or introducing you speculatively to our client for a duration of 6 months), and to record your response on our system. We will keep an auditable proof of your consent on our systems for 12 months.

YOUR RIGHTS (RIGHT TO ACCESS & RIGHT TO ERASE)

You have the right to access your personal information that we hold on our systems. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information about you rectified. You can also request us to erase your personal information in line with “the right to be forgotten”. We will grant both requests within 30 days.

Please note that we are not able to delete people from third-party social networks used by Research Talent Hub such as LinkedIn.
