PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • To manage the schedules, budgets, and details of various projects, ensuring that all aspects are well-organized and communicated effectively across departments.
  • To provide administrative and operational support to the Development Manager, organizing stakeholder meetings, and assist with projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • To assist in expanding Rent-A-Drum’s industrial services, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector, by aiding in business development and relationship-building efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Business Analysis

    Monitor and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures. Capture and analyze management information to support decision-making. Develop the project’s product or service to meet objectives and define solutions that align with business stakeholders' needs.

Meeting Coordination

    Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, documenting and following up on key actions and decisions. Prepare presentation materials and ensure effective communication of relevant information.

Proposals & Tenders

    Assist with proposals and coordinate tenders from start to finish, ensuring stakeholder views are managed for optimal solutions. Collaborate with the Development Manager and other departments to align proposals and tenders with organizational goals.

Project Management

    Develop and implement project strategies aligned with company goals, track progress with a project calendar, and coordinate projects with the Development Manager and teams. Distribute meeting minutes, follow up on actions, assess risks, and ensure proper documentation and adherence to timelines.

QUALIFICATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, particularly within industrial services or the Oil & Gas sector. 
  • Competency in financial systems and file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computers for a variety of tasks, including Microsoft applications.
