The Opportunity

Describe the scope and general areas of responsibility including functional and geographic scope, budget responsibilities and development/impact on tools, systems, processes. Also describe leadership responsibilities with an indication of size and type of team and any significant interfaces with other parts of the organization.

The Data Entry – Content professional must multi-task and prioritize effectively while executing various tasks to generate the team’s work in our proprietary systems and add or revise product information for display on qvc.com and other channels. Interacts with other teams to respond to time-sensitive requests, ensures accuracy and completeness of data, and communicates issues as they arise. Maintains and develops efficient and accurate reporting for team. Responsible for educating other teams on best practices as necessary.

Your Impact

Understands and uses internal systems to generate team workflow; prioritizes and communicates urgent copy needs.

Understands and uses internal systems to add customer-facing information to items for sale on qvc.com while adhering to established procedures and style standards.

Uses independent judgment to add legal and other required information to QVC product records. Acts as spokesperson for the process and thoroughly understands Excel and internal systems required to perform these tasks.

May edit customer-facing sell copy and bullet points to ensure they are free of grammatical and spelling errors, unsubstantiated or erroneous claims, and that they strike the proper tone.

Supports full team in developing and evolving processes to ensure that department resources (e.g. Wiki, style guides) are maintained and accurate; may assist with testing and reporting on new systems during development.

Runs reports and queries as necessary to generate work, indicates team output and capacity, and ensure required transactions are completed in a timely manner.

Receives and independently responds to correspondence from internal and external stakeholders. Oversees intake mailboxes used to add and remove product information.

Models a positive, productive working attitude that fosters creativity and responsibility as well as personal and professional development. Champions Our Purpose and Principles

Communicates business-critical information with merchandising, legal, digital operations, and other departments across QVC. Updates Product Detail Coordinator, Copy Supervisor, and/or business partners on issues that arise, as necessary.

Maintains team output and capacity; generates weekly reports.

Maintains documentation on training and work processes.

Cross-trains teammates to ensure adequate coverage during vacation or absence

Collaborates with different business units to share best practices and procedures. Builds a strong network of internal and external relationships that can be used to deliver solutions.

Researches issues as they arise, communicates findings, and offers solutions.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by manager.

What You Bring

Excellent knowledge of PC and network systems including: Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint

Ability to prioritize and exhibit strong time management skills
