Job Opportunity: Operations Administrator/Controller Building, Conversions, and Development (Remote South Africa)
Salary: £800 - £1000 per month
Work Model: Fully remote, based in South Africa, working UK hours (9:00 AM 5:30 PM UK time)
Our client, a UK-based company specializing in comprehensive property solutions from property development and furnishing to tenant placements seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Administrator/Controller to join their dynamic team remotely in South Africa.
In addition to property development, our client offers mental coaching, personal empowerment programs, and public speaking services to inspire and empower others.
Role Overview:
As the Operations Administrator/Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the progress of multiple construction projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your focus will be on building and conversion projects, as well as coordinating with various professionals, suppliers, and agents to ensure the seamless execution of projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Preparation of systems in Monday.com to track building and conversion projects.
- Monitoring the progress of multiple construction teams across various sites.
- Managing and updating Gantt charts to reflect project timelines and key milestones.
- Ensuring KPIs are met and projects are progressing on schedule.
- Stakeholder Liaison:
- Virtual communication with architects, building control, and planning departments.
- Coordinating with surveyors to arrange visits for finance drawdowns from lenders.
- Liaising with furniture suppliers to ensure timely delivery of furnishings for projects.
- Facilitating communication with lettings and property managers for a smooth handover once builds are completed.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Construction: Proven knowledge of the construction industry and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Management Expertise: Comfortable with tech systems, specifically in project management software like Monday.com, and ability to improve processes for greater efficiency.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or similar) and other project management tools.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
