Job Title: Remote Events Coordinator

Location: Remote in South Africa

Salary: R20,000 R32,000 (experience dependent and can be negotiated)

Work Model: Monday Friday, 8am 2pm (UK hours), 25hrs-30hrs per week

Our client is a dynamic property coaching company renowned for delivering transformative experiences and insights to their members through monthly events across the UK. They're seeking a proactive and highly organized Remote Events Coordinator to join their team in South Africa, supporting the Head of Events and Community Engagement based in the UK.

Role Overview: As the Events Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in bringing the events to life by supporting all aspects of event planning and execution. You'll handle marketing materials, respond to membership inquiries, engage our social media audience and ensure that the event logistics run seamlessly. From crafting social media posts to creating Loom videos, your contribution will be essential to the smooth delivery of their monthly events and ongoing community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination & Logistics: Manage the scheduling and organization of monthly events, coordinating with venues and service providers to ensure smooth logistics from afar.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement: Develop and schedule engaging content on social media, respond to inquiries, and help foster a thriving community around our events.
  • Membership Inquiries: Be the go-to contact for membership questions, offering prompt and friendly support to current and potential members.
  • Project Support & Video Creation: Use tools like Loom to create short videos explaining event details and updates, assist with ad-hoc projects, and provide administrative support to the Head of Events.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of memberships, attendance, and engagement, producing insightful reports to help us improve each event.

  • Tech-Savvy & Social Media Savvy: Experience with social media management, content creation, and familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Loom, project management software).
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident in responding to inquiries, creating clear video content, and producing written material that resonates with our audience.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable analyzing data to track engagement, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
