About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software solutions and eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of software development experience who have a strong foundation in backend development and cloud technologies.

You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop scalable applications, build RESTful APIs, optimize databases, and contribute to modern cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET Core (C#) or a comparable backend programming language.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Assist in developing cloud-native applications using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2 years of professional software development experience using .NET Core (C#) or another modern backend programming language.
• Hands-on experience or academic exposure to designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Basic experience or project-based familiarity with cloud platforms such as:
  - Microsoft Azure
  - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  
• Exposure to serverless technologies such as:
  - Azure Functions
  - AWS Lambda
  
  
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Creative mindset with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel when needed for team alignment or training.

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following experience or knowledge are highly encouraged to apply:



• Exposure to or strong conceptual understanding of Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
  
• Familiarity with alternative database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or DynamoDB (experience with any two is an advantage).
• Baseline familiarity with scripting languages or frontend frameworks such as Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, React, or Vue.js (experience with any two is an advantage).
