Role: Civil Estimator (Sports Division)

Salary: Competitive Basic Salary

Shift schedule: 5-day work week, 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (8pm to 5am after DST) Philippine Time 

Work set up: Work from Home


Position Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for accurately assessing project costs and developing detailed estimates for construction projects at our client's Sports Division. This role emphasizes collaboration with sales and design teams to ensure precision and alignment with client needs, while maintaining a strong focus on detail and accuracy in all estimations. The client is based in the US. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and design teams to gather necessary project details and clarify any uncertainties in project scope.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project documents and specifications to identify all cost elements, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
  • Manage a high volume of projects, consistently handling 5-10 estimates per week while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized database of historical cost data and trends to inform future estimates and improve accuracy.
  • Responsible for applying practical engineering skills to accurately assess project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions, leveraging hands-on knowledge of construction processes and materials.
  • Provide clear and detailed documentation of estimates, including breakdowns of costs and justifications for pricing.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams to address any modifications or feedback related to estimates, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, market conditions, and emerging construction methods that may impact cost estimations.
  • Attend meetings as required to ensure understanding of project, department, and company needs.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in construction estimating within the civil or sports facility sectors is highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project specifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to estimating processes.
