Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Sales & Marketing Officer to manage our lead generation, digital presence, content strategy & creation, sales administration, and project and staff scheduling support across two Western Australian‑based businesses. This roles primary task is to support the sales pipeline from enquiry to scheduling, take control of the strategic planning and execution of all social media activity and maintains accurate data, pricing, and product information across our systems. You will work closely with our onsite team for social media content input, customer details, and job information, while independently managing day‑to‑day marketing and sales admin operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration Support (Lead Responsibility)
- Monitor and respond to email enquiries with pre‑approved templates.
- Gather customer details and requirements.
- Prepare draft quotes in HirePOS (Event Hire) for approval.
- Once approved, send quotes and follow up.
- Schedule confirmed jobs into ConnectTeam.
- Create weekly job schedule for delivery team – HirePos.
- Ensure delivery notes, job details, and staff instructions are correctly entered.
- Maintain organized digital records of quotes, jobs, and customer files = basic CRM in HirePos.
- Secondary responsibilities will include assisting in the respond to email enquiries and orders of the sales furniture (Shopify). Updating stock levels and scheduling deliveries.
Social Media Strategy & Management - for the Hire & Sales business
- Develop and manage a multi‑platform social media strategy (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile).
- Create monthly content calendars, campaign ideas, and posting plans.
- Produce content in Canva: graphics, reels, product features, install showcases, before/after sets.
- Coordinate with onsite team for photos, videos, and updates.
- Schedule posts using Meta Business Suite / Canva / other tools.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages using approved scripts.
- Provide weekly analytics and recommendations.
Lead Generation & Marketing Automation
- Build and maintain a clean, segmented customer & potential customers database
- Create and send email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, product updates).
- Set up automated follow‑ups for enquiries, quotes, and past customers.
- Conduct light follow‑up calls (optional, depending on skill/comfort).
- Track leads from social media, website, Google, and email.
Website & Content Updates
- Update product pages, photos, specs, and pricing on Shopify..
- Upload blogs, case studies as needed.
- Create ad hoc marketing materials.
