Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Enter client purchase orders
- Create contractor profiles
- Upload safety tickets and verify validity
- Accountable for accurate and timely data input.
- Contact contractors and assist them in logging into the software system
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental policies.
- May be asked to act as backup for reception or other administrative areas when required.
- May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development equivalency (GED).
- Post-secondary education in an Administrative field is a strong asset
Experience:
- 2 - 5 years of previous working experience in a Receptionist/Administrative related role is required.
Specific technical skills:
- Must be competent with computer
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
- Ensures full compliance with the companys Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
