General Manager
About the job General Manager
We are looking for General Manager of a hotel is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, overseeing revenue and expenses, and developing and implementing strategies to grow the business. They work closely with department heads to ensure that the hotel is operating efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a high level of service for guests.
Position General Manager (Budget 200-250K)
Responsibilities:
- Fully own the commercials of your property, both rooms and F&B, overall performance from budgets, through to P&L, planning and forecasting (and re-forecasting!).
- Developing strategies and implementing action plans to achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service for both external and internal customers, building long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Constantly take the lead in finding local partners to fulfil F&B, events and activities. And foster good relationships with local community.
Work collaboratively with shared services at Brand Office including accounting, sales & marketing and all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one another. - Be responsible in developing Operation guidelines for the property both rooms and F&B, reviewing staff performance and conducting daily meetings to ensure that all departments are inworking order and ensure the highest standard of brand
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety and security of the guests, employees and visitors at all times
- Maintains the highest standards of uniform, personal presentation and hygiene. Work areas are kept clean, in an orderly state.
- Control of manpower management of your team and staffing the hotel appropriately.
Requirements and Skills:
- Any nationalities are welcomed to apply.
- Fluent in English and proficient in Thai.
- Able to present, pull reports, compare performance and keep everyone up to date and on track.
- Have the mindset of a mentor to develop and the support team, creating an environment where your team can to be the best of themselves and stepping up in their roles.
- Need to be able to delegate well.
- Be resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Keen to learn new technology and able to adapt quickly into various digital systems.
- Have empathy, genuinely keen in reaching out to guests, team, suppliers and the community.
- Be able to relocate to Koh Samui, enjoy the outdoors and garden!
