We are looking for Plant Director typically involves overseeing the manufacturing operations of a company or organization. The specific job requirements and skills may vary depending on the industry and company.

Responsibilities :

  • Leading and managing the work of those responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for customers products.

Requirement and skills :

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, or a related field is often required. Some companies may prefer candidates with a master's degree or an MBA.
  • Relevant work experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management is typically required. This can range from 5 to 10 years or more, depending on the company's size and complexity.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

Leadership and Management Skills:

  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of employees, including supervisors, engineers, and production workers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational goals.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Financial and Business Acumen:

  • Understanding of financial metrics and the ability to analyze manufacturing costs, budgets, and profitability.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and the ability to work closely with procurement and logistics teams.
  • Ability to align manufacturing strategies with overall business objectives and contribute to the development of the company's long-term plans.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO standards, FDA regulations).
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
