Position : Factory Manager (Manufacturing) 

We are looking for a factory manager in the manufacturing , your role is to oversee the overall operations of the factory and ensure its efficient and effective functioning.

Responsibilities :

  • Operations Management: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the factory, including production planning, scheduling, and ensuring the timely delivery of wire products.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that the wire products meet the required standards and customer expectations.
  • Production Planning: Develop production schedules and prioritize job orders to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Resource Management: Manage and optimize the use of resources such as manpower, machinery, and raw materials to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety audits, and providing appropriate training to the staff.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of production workers, technicians, and support staff. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure a motivated and efficient workforce.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the factory.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the factory's budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures to achieve financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is typically required. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the wire industry is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of wire manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards is essential. Familiarity with wire drawing, annealing, coating, and finishing processes is a plus.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively manage and motivate the factory team. Experience in managing a diverse workforce and fostering a collaborative work environment is beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to analyze complex situations, identify problems, and implement effective solutions is crucial. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills will be essential in dealing with production challenges and optimizing operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, as well as experience in implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance, is necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and quality control standards is essential. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Analytical and Financial Skills: Proficiency in analyzing production data, monitoring key performance indicators, and managing budgets is important for efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to process improvement, familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, and experience in implementing operational excellence initiatives are highly valued.
