About the job Head of Legal
Position : Head of Legal ( Budget 180-250K) THB
We are looking for Head of Legal to responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the organization, providing guidance and support to the executive team and other departments as required. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional legal knowledge and expertise, and a deep understanding of the business and industry in which the organization operates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support to the executive team and other departments as required.
- Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage legal matters and liaise with external counsel as necessary.
- Oversee the negotiation and drafting of legal agreements, including contracts, licenses, and other legal documents.
- Ensure that the organization is up to date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team of lawyers and legal support staff, providing guidance and direction as required.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and the board of directors on legal matters.
- Handle Legal and government related transaction
- Responsible for the legal affairs of the entire corporation
- Supervise the legal and government relation team
- Provide legal advice related to business and drafting/reviewing agreements and legal documents to support business as usual and new real estate project.
- Provide advice on laws, rules and regulations issued to support various business activities in product development and launch of new projects.
- Prepare, review, draft and modify agreements, contracts, contractual instruments, and other legal documents.
- Track legal and regulatory updates
- Work with external legal counsel on specific matters
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years' experience practicing law, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the industry in which the organization operates.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Bachelors degree in laws, Politics, Business Administration, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory laws
- Being ingenious, having negotiation skills, being persuasive, and excellent instant problem-solving skills.
- Experience in team management
- Experience in government relationship is a plus
- Lawyer License is a plus.
