We are looking for country sales manager for a software company who are responsible for managing the sales team in a specific country or region to achieve revenue targets and grow the business. The following are the typical responsibilities and duties of a country sales manager for a software company:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Manage and lead the sales team in the country or region
- Hire, train, and coach sales staff to improve their performance
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and develop go-to-market strategies for specific products or solutions
- Build and manage relationships with key customers in the country or region
- Develop solutions to meet customer needs and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal
- Report on sales activities and results and forecast sales revenue
- Collaborate with other teams within the company, such as marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer engagement
- Oversee sales and marketing activities to achieve corporate revenue goals.
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the companys customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Managing recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.
- Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties.
- Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Develop new sales techniques for business growth and profitability.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Address customer inquiries about products and services offered.
- Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business.
- Represent company brand in sales conferences and trade shows.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and specifications.
- Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.
- Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales management in the software industry, preferably in the same or similar geographic region
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Ability to manage and lead a sales team to achieve results
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend conferences, and visit other company locations.
- Strong experience in ERP, Saas /Cloud sales especially supply chain management platform
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
