The Deputy CEO in the banking industry plays a pivotal role in assisting the CEO in leading, managing, and guiding the overall strategic direction, growth, and operations of the company. This position requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in organizational management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The Deputy CEO will work closely with the CEO, executive team members, and department heads to foster innovation, ensure operational excellence, and achieve the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO in defining and executing the organization's strategic objectives and initiatives. Assist in translating the company's vision into actionable plans and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration across various departments, promoting a unified approach to achieving organizational goals. Work closely with executive team members to drive interdepartmental synergy.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that they are aligned with the strategic goals. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Corporate Governance: Act as a representative of the company and ensure that all business operations adhere to KS Corporate Governance standards. Uphold the highest ethical and legal standards throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly provide reports and updates to the executive team regarding the overall business performance. Address specific business issues related to ASEAN subsidiaries and recommend strategic actions to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Take a proactive role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with banking operations. Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial stability and reputation.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of executives and managers, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high-performance standards.
  • Financial Management: Ensure responsible financial management, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control, to meet or exceed financial targets and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of executive leadership experience in the banking or financial industry, with a track record of achieving outstanding results.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • A deep understanding of the banking industry, financial markets, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
