Position : Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance Dept (Budget 100-130K)

  • Type of Job: Overall Supervisor of Accounting and Finance Dept.

    Content of Job: Overall supervision on accounting and finance affairs (institutional/management accounting, budget, finance, tax, costing, credit control)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership role in all aspects of the companys accounting and financial operations
  • Provide the management team accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate the decision-making process
  • Oversee operation of Accounting and Finance Dept.
  • Be responsible for the annual budget process, provide monthly and quarterly reviews, and implementing business plans, forecasting performance and other programs
  • Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs, and variances
  • Respond to inquiries from the management team including CEO, the Audit Committee, and Finance Controller regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
  • Work with the company auditors to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit
  • Support subsidiary company for consolidation management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or masters degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance
  • A minimum of 10+ years prior supervisory experience in Accounting / Finance area in manufacturing environment, manage financials manufacturing accounting system, standard cost accounting, budgeting, and treasury functions.

  • Experience in costing administration is a must
  • English skill must have reached a business level for speaking, listening, reading, and writing. (Applicable level is equivalent to TOEIC score over 700)
  • CPD license is required
  • Required to use SAP
  • A minimum of 10+ years of work experience in a similar role from Japanese automotive industry is preferrable
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in Thai GAAP, IFRS, financial controlling, financial reporting, and financial analysis
  • Stability and career longevity are most desirable; you need to stay in each company for at least 3 years while few minor exceptions are accepted upon discussion
  • A mature, trusted and transparent team leadership with good people management skills
  • Working experience in Accounting and Finance Dept. of Thai Public Company Limited would be preferable
  • CPA holder would be preferable
  • Capable of explaining and reporting his/her job in English to the management team
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
