About the job Head of Project Construction

Position : Head of Project Construction ( Budget 150-200K)

As a Head of Project Construction, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your primary duties will include overseeing the project budget, timeline, and quality control, as well as managing the construction team and ensuring all work is completed according to design and safety standards. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, and ensuring that all project stakeholders are informed of project progress and changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee all construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage the construction team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals, ensuring that they work together effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that project goals and objectives are understood and met.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, and take appropriate action if violations occur.
  • Review and approve construction plans and designs, and ensure that all work is completed according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and prepare regular status reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to construction project management

Requirements Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, safety requirements, and best practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
