We are currently seeking a Junior Special Security Representative to join our team at Camp Lejeune, NC to support Intelligence and Security Services and Support (IS3). IS3 provides its strategic partners a full spectrum of services to support; intelligence and security training including exercise and deployment support, individual and collective training development and delivery, operations and security services including enterprise intelligence operations requiring multiple intelligence discipline expertise, engineering support to include technical insertion Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and prototype integration, life-cycle logistics for equipment readiness support to support soldiers and equipment, as well as ancillary IT products and services to increase the Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWF) readiness.
Job Responsibilities:
Providing ongoing organizational analysis and technical support for Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, and Department of Defense security policies and procedures. Advise on a full range of administrative support services, including the interpretation and application of secure facility project requirements based on applicable policies and procedures. The position involves supporting the control and maintenance of relevant databases such as DISS, managing facilities access control functions, and handling, storing, destroying, and managing SCI materials in compliance with DoD directives Interpret security policy regarding the processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials, prepare and conduct Collateral and SCI indoctrinations, set up required media support equipment, and verify clearance eligibility prior to indoctrinations. Additional duties include requirements analysis and implementation of administrative support functions, such as SCI conference personnel accountability and verification, processing foreign travel documents, and serving as a security liaison with other SSO and DoD organizations to develop solutions for internal and external requirements. The role demands the ability to read, understand, and apply government regulations, policies, and procedures, including DoD SAP and SCI Community and Intelligence Community directives and manuals, NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, and applicable ICDs.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a SCIF environment, demonstrating a clear understanding of technical physical security, systems operations, and access control.
- Prior experience operating SCIF ECP and performing SSR-related administrative functions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Defense Information Security System (DISS), NBIS, and Symmetry access control system.
- Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705 and DoD Manual 5205.07, specifically regarding technical physical security standards.
- Must complete all designated CDSE STEPP training (e.g., Derivative Classification, OPSEC, Storage Containers and Facilities) within 90 days of assignment.
- HS diploma or GED
- Currently possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security clearance at the appropriate level.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
