Resource Consultant - entry level position

• 6-month initial contract

Established in 2010, Red Earth are a leading Rec2Rec placing recruitment professionals across Australia. We are regarded as one of the most reputable and dependable international rec2recs operating in the UK today.

We are currently looking to fill an opportunity within our own team for a Resource Consultant, focused on sourcing professional recruiters who want to work in Australia.

In this role you will be supporting a Senior Consultant finding candidates to fill their roles. Initially, your role will be to use professional and social media to network, source and attract professional recruiters who want to work in Australia. The role will quickly advance to include the full candidate vetting process. (full training will be provided).

Once you have gained some experience you will spend your days networking with recruiters on sites like LinkedIn and Facebook, writing and managing online ad responses, interviewing, and assessing candidates F2F, over the phone and via Teams. If the candidates are local then meeting them for coffee is encouraged. The long-term aim of the role is to build a network of professional recruiters who you can tap into to source new and existing candidates for our roles.

In this position, your ability to be flexible is especially important, recruiters are seldom able to talk during normal office hours and many of your candidates will be overseas. So, you must be able to manage your day to include talking to candidates before and after normal office hours. As such, working from home and hybrid options are encouraged.

To be successful in this role:

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise with social and professional media
• Sensational organisational skills
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Previous B2B or B2C sales experience will be highly regarded
• First-hand knowledge of living and/or working in Australia is highly desirable but not essential
• No previous recruitment experience is required
• Honesty, integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are ESSENTIAL
• FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
